Portrait Photography
Portrait photography is photography of a person or group of people that displays the expression, personality, and mood of the subject. The focus of the photograph is usually the person's face, although the entire body and the background or context may be included.
Environmental -
Environmental portrait photography is all about photographing your subject in their natural environment. This can be anywhere from where they work, where they live, or anywhere where they like to spend their time. It is all about portraying something of the character of your subject through where they are in the photo.
Candid-
Candid photography is a photograph captured mostly in motion, without creating a posed appearance rather than awkward, posed photos with fake smiles it is more natural and unexpected, capturing the moment.
Formal-
A formal portrait is not a snapshot but a carefully arranged pose under effective lighting conditions. A single person looking at the camera.

Photoshop Experiment
Shoot 4-
I enjoyed doing the Photoshop experiment but I don't like the unnatural look the editing created, sometimes I can over edit.
Shoot 5-
I decided to go back to basics and use a strong composition rather than editing on Photoshop to create a powerful portrait.

Working in the style of David lazar-
I tried to capture a similar photograph in the style in which David Lazar did in South Asia with my younger cousin in Plattfields park on a old burnt bench.
Rule of Triangles-
Triangle is a strong compositional guideline to use when your photograph contains strong diagonal elements
Worst photo -
This is one of my worst photo's because I didn't focus on the two faces but instead the camera focused on the centre of the tree which caused the picture to look blured.

Evaluation:
By completing this project I have learnt to take pictures from different angels and perspectives. I have have learnt how to create shadows in my work. I have learnt about the different styles of portrait photography which I have shown at the top in my research. If I was to do this again I would change the lighting more. I would also edit some of the images in programmes such as Photoshop. My work links to my research by taking similar shots and compositions.
